Meaning the repairs cost an arm and a leg, so how can they get away with calling it minor.

Just not telling the truth.

Bought a Tahoe with a salvage title about 4.5 years ago from this auto parts dealer. Guy who bought it got it at a sheriff's auction (former drug deal vehicle). I've been driving it ever since with zero problems other than it carrying a salvage title. Door is from a Silverado. I plan on keeping it another 4-5 years. Looks great and runs great.

Does Uber allow salvage vehicles to be used? I could see fixing one up and using it as a beater vehicle for Uber

I bought one with a "salvage title" Only after I had the car shipped to me it came without the title. After big hassle they sent me a "for destruction only" title. The was coparts auction. They lied and said I misread but I had several screen shots of the online auction.
