We were wondering why he kept saying it that way. Have seen lots of interviews with actual Muslims since then and they all say it that way

Sadly, this doesn't really surprise me. I was living in Columbia, MO on 9/11. There were FBI investigations of Muslims there in the aftermath. An Al-Quaeda operative lived in Columbia in the late 1990s, and was part of a "relief organization" that was a front for funneling money to Al-Quaeda and Hamas. He also purchased a sat phone in Columbia that he delivered to bin Laden in Afghanistan - this phone was used to organize the attacks on US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, I believe. There was a family who was well-known in the Muslim community who disappeared overnight after 9/11 - moved out, left most things behind and were gone without a trace. So, there has been activity there before that would make most of us very concerned. Look up Ziyad Khaleel.

There are 2 large metro areas close to Mid-Missouri, as well as some major recreation areas. Lots of sporting activities. So, several potential targets. But I wouldn't think Missouri would be high on the list - more likely, terrorists would think it would be easier to organize there because it would be watched less closely than coastal areas, major financial centers, major government centers, etc.

There is no rule explosives and material for remote detonation have to be bought in the same month. The explosive materials may have been accumulated over a long period of time to avoid attracting attention.

Which is kinda the point of having a stash, right?

Damn, we'll see what MSM outlet runs the story.

What story? I just read a website talking about misplaced fertilizers packaged next to timers.

Now, if it had been about workplace gun violence, that would be a story.

And this is why many people detest liberals

quote:

Mary Paddock · Works at Novelist They were commercial grade explosives like the highway department might use (read: not pipe bombs) and were probably acquired by someone who learned too late that they weren't supposed to have them without a license. Or they did know and got nervous about it and decided to dump them somewhere where they couldn't do any harm. Or--yes--they were left out there by someone who really did have nefarious intentions but got nervous and changed their mind (like a kid or a mentally unstable adult). Please do your homework some place other than media sources who are served by causing unnecessary panic.
