You lazy frickers with all that student loan debt is comical as hell.

We worked 2 jobs each to graduate debt free.

I’ll see y’all at the boat launch in a couple of weeks, picking up trash, while we frick off.....

So after they spend on everything they want they are still leftover with $43.3k. (36k to 401k and 7300 misc)

Doesn't seem that bad to me.

It reads as if your kids aren't eating nearly enough in day.

Regardless, what you claim to do is extreme and not feasible for most people. And you seem to only do it because you have to.

I'd move before I did something like that.

I'm not sure how you took anything I said to be disrespectful, but if you're serious, I'd be glad to do so considering it's what I do for a living.

1.5 million dollar house is a big part of the issue. They pay $5000 a month for a mortgage

Way overpaying for childcare. Should be no more than $1000 per child per month

Spending way too much for food. They’re spending $442 a week. $5.26 per meal per person is outrageous. If they ever cooked at home it would never cost that much

Way too much for vacations. Take some driving vacations instead of flying to Hawaii every vacation

Owning a BMW is stupid

$100 a week on gas? I commute over an hour total every day in an old SUV and I do $100 a month

$200 per person per month on clothes. I might spend that much in 6 months and I wear nice clothes and my shoes wear out quickly. Wife has a shopping problem for sure

$1000 a month for lessons for kids? Gone

$18k to charity? Way too much

$32k on student loans for 10-20 shows these people have no clue about money

Basically two dumbasses wrote out their budget to show off to everyone that they have a nice life and they have no idea how to budget

A month? $250 a month per person on all food. Calling BS on that. Definitely not getting anything quality for that.

We spend about $700-750 at the grocery store per month. We eat most meals at home. We do go out to eat and get takeout. I've never sat down and added up what we spend there. I'd guess $300. Family of 3

What do most teens eat on school days? I'd buy their lunch but they prefer to take it.

You're spending double the number for half the people. I should hope it's not a burden.

I think your math is off, bud. We spend $500 for two people... $250 a month per person. The people in the OP are spending almost $500 a month per person, and two of them are small children.

How about breakfast and the other meals you're not accounting for?

You expect me give an account of everything I eat this week in a post? I was just giving some info about our main meal to show we aren't eating PB&J sandwiches the whole time. The other food fits into the $125 a week budget too.

What's funny about a protein shake? I don't buy premade shakes from the store.

I'm not sure why this topic is bringing out the smug in you, but I'm not trying piss anyone off. When I hear about people spending $2000 a month on groceries, it really makes me wonder what people are buying. I guess it's paying for convenience.
