New Orleans is flooding big time right now.

The rain was insane.

The hail was brutal here in Lakeview- sounded like someone was throwing rocks at the house and on the roof for about 10 minutes around 4:15

I seem to recall this morning driving to work they said 20 percent of rain today. Definetly not this.

Yep. Yesterday was supposed to be the rainy day and there was nothing.

I drove past that guy, or a guy doing the same, during the storm trying to get to liuzzas. It was closed.

This is bad. It’s not stopping anytime soon and it’s been coming down for the past 90 minutes

I'm sure the pumps are down like August.

Doesn’t matter. Even if they are working at full capacity they can’t handle 4” in 90 minutes.

fairly sure the pumps can only handle something like 2 in./hour for the 1st hour and 0.5 in./hr. after that when at full caparcity

so the pumps wouldn't be able to handle this anyway... even at full power

It makes it worse though. It was like 8-10 real quick in August.
