The 12 month interchange modification should happen concurrently with the gas station construction.
Seems to me that's what Alabama did on I-65 for the Athens Buc-ee's. Then-again every road up there seems to be under improvement, probably due in no small part to the car plant.

Buc-ees has been building this exact design now for a while. They know what needs to be done and I can promise you when they announced they knew how long it “should” take based on their experiences in other places.

This delay is because either LA is asking for something different / extra, or because LA takes much longer than other states do.

First, you are an idiot. This has nothing to do with a design and everything to do with traffic impact. You think Walmart ahs a different design? Second - Quit melting over your Buccees. Its a store, be an adult.

Company I worked for years ago built retail everything for everyone, we had to do an impact study on traffic if our estimate daily customer predictions went above a certain amount.

They were projected to open mid 2025. Seems like they projected most of this, just an extended time line right? Surely it doesn't normally take Buccees 2 years to build a facility right?

Traffic studies.......traffic studies.

What about environmental impact studies while we are at it.

This is the same shite the guardians of nature and the environment pulled with the Lacombe to Bush to Bogalusa highway project that took 30 f...ing years to get started.
