Man wants to give the angry young terrorist a simple job to pass the time by while these terrorists are plotting and planning to kill him, his family, his fellow countrymen, and his whole way of life.

Let's just hug & love the anger out of these young terrorists way of thinking has innocent people being blown up.

Growing extremely weary of waking up to stories like this.

A good start would be to shut down the open migrant routes that allow these guys to move about freely from IS operating countries such as Syria etc. These cells are popping up at very increased speeds with little intelligence of who is actually coming into those countries.

This is not our grandfather's conventional warfare. These assholes are not standing across from us on some smokey battlefield with rifles drawn.

These parasites will use people and ideals like the guy suggesting that haji just needs a western style job to keep his hands busy so he doesn't build a bomb with them,& every other kind of weakness to gain favor. Once blended in and acquired needed resources, they strike.

I know I don't have all the answers but just arbitrarily opening our doors up to people we have no background on in a time of war is just plain dumb.

Money is probably the answer. You offer a crime stoppers style anonymous system where you pay people for intelligence and they will turn on their neighbor before an attack happens.

follow that program up with incarceration for anyone that has contact with perpetrators and observed weapons, bomb making materials etc being accumulated but didn't report it.
