yeah, like the guy in Israel that stopped a butcher knife attack because he was about 50m away and ran over and started shooting the attacker.

you clearly don't understand terrorism any better than other people. but for some reason you think that you do.

This is about the US - which you just laughed about the notion of an armed populace having any effect in this situation.

But please, enlighten us all on how to stay safe. You seem to have all the answers.

So you're telling me that armed citizens wouldn't have attempted to stop someone from shooting up a cafe?

Well, I asked a question then you quickly tried to offend me. I assure you, my comprehension skills are just fine, I just forgot that you have everything figured out. Sigh, I should've known though, you're sporting the Trump avi and that genius National Muslim database would have all this under wraps by now...

Who do you think the terrorists are - rogue SAS guys or something?

Since you think these terrorists are gods of warfare, maybe you can just start applauding them when they start shooting and perhaps you should learn Arabic so you can them how bad arse they are. They like fan boys.

People have to be willing to fight to survive. And it helps if they're prepared. You don't have either of those qualities. But you want to ridicule those with no intention of being a victim.

Avoiding responsibility as well as avoiding formulating ideas for others to give their opinions on are the actions of a coward. The one who shly suggests their opinion without really being heard is the one who will never be remembered. Reality always wins.

I don't think CCW will prevent or deter terrorists, so I must support terrorism.

Just stop.

It most certainly deters terrorism. At least the types of attacks we saw in Paris and Ft Hood.

Mattz has taken the illogical position that because an armed populace can't stop all acts of terrorism, an armed populace is worthless with respect to terrorism.

I am not shy, avoiding responsibility, or a coward. I am sorry that I don't "Trumpet" the face of American stupid like you do in order to be "brave." I am also smart enough to know that stupid people insult when they have no other recourse. I tried to see where you were coming from but you chose the easy route that demonizes anyone who could see things differently than you. We want the same thing in the end, why choose such ignorant rhetoric?

An armed and dangerous populace was dangerous enough the United States decided not to invade Japan. I'll side with the US Government that it deters attacks.
