LOL. Anyone who has worked in LE knows that violence increases over the summer. BR Chief tried to get a pat on the back for a decrease before the real shooting season started and was just a biiiit Late.
At least now it was a more realistic press conference.
Left the field a couple of years ago, and I will say though, he's not wrong. The trend toward babying criminals is astounding by the court system.
Add in a department/public/DA that will crucify you for doing anything remotely aligned with ENFORCEMENT, and I really feel for those that are still holding the line. It would take a radical shift to make the job what it once was, to turn the tide to actually protecting the innocent, but sadly, I don't see it happening.

First, SWB is an example of why police chief should be an elected position in BR. Paul is obviously her puppet. I think its funny that when shite is bad he is the one being interviewed, but anything positive they try to create about crime she is the one talking about it.
These clowns need to go.
As for as law enforcement as a whole they need more funding. Plain and simple. They need to pay them more to attract more people to the job. They need to have some type of communication training for law enforcement.. and they need to get rid of those god damn cameras. I know there are people who record everything, but sometimes I imagine they have to do things that are "not by the book". And maybe there needs to be a separation between the police who do traffic stops and handle domestic issues and the ones who police the areas with high crime so they can work on breaking up deals, find out who are illegally selling guns, shite like that.
Either way something has to be done, but before that can happen SWB has to GTFO.

I could bullet point why your verbal diarrhea is BS, but you don't care.
Heres the quick rebuttal..
Policing will not change until the publics attitude to the job itself changes.
Anything aside from that is a band aid to the actual disease.
All your GP Chat generated points to seem likable/pander to the crowd miss that link.

Get a list of the judges and DA’s committing these crimes against the citizens, and arrest them. Problem solved.

That's what they're doing. You think EBR Parish Prison has been at capacity since the 90s because guys are turning themselves in?
Once again, just another example of why this state sucks and misappropriation of tax dollars. Other states seem to get it right and we can’t figure out a 30 year old growing problem. Make that thing multiple stories.

A broken clock is right twice a day.
There are two judges in Baton Rouge that suck. And almost all of them in New Orleans sucks.
