That doesn’t make sense

Guy brought the c4 to the station and wanted to know what to do with it

One of BRPD’s finest interpreted it as him making a threat

The man told officials he had just cleaned out a storage unit and found what he believed was C4.
No matter how the dude handled it, calling the cops vs bringing it to them, some place was getting locked down.

But it is funny that it was the PD station...

Hmmm. This looks like a high explosive. I’ll load it in my car and drive across rough arse BR streets to the police station and let them know I have a possible bomb in the parking lot. I’m sure they will handle it with calm professionalism and not do anything rash or stupid,

“Rough” won’t set off C4. Fire won’t either. You need a primer/ detonator. I wish I had some to go fishing with.

Creeping, hell

They've been there for years. Running out of places to run.

So the dude found C4 and brought it to the police station to ask them what to do with it. Was it connected to anything that could have set it off?

Also, not that it matters I guess, but wouldn't it have been much easier just to call and say "Yes, I am cleaning out a storage located at __________. I just found some C4 and would like to know how to properly dispose of it. Is there anyone who can help me with this?"

But then again, the person who answers the phone probably has no clue what C4 is and just say "That aint nothing we can do. You might have to call someone else"

They all bugged out because some idiot who read too many Mitch Rapp novels found what was probably modeling clay in a storage unit.

funny because I saw them all outside Thursday evening too when I passed headquarters, with all the emergency vehicles with the lights on, as if they had evacuated then. Was wondering wth was going on then. Maybe they were practicing for 'the real evac/day off" on Friday?
