That whole area was like the Country Club of LA back in the 70s and 80s.
King Richard right there east of Sherwood off Old Hammond has some 4000+ square foot cribs and at one time had some of the richest folks in BR living in them. Right across the street from. Sherwood Forest Country Club.

Sherwood was the second nicest CC in Baton Rouge at one point. Now they don’t even have a golf course

I wonder what the inside of that Chuck E Cheese looks like now. Hopefully junkies on stage nodding off so that they look like sleeping robots.

Google shows there is a little patch of wooded growth, with a ditch, right there. I would be surprised if there were not a few more skeletons, lost in the foliage, right there.
