We've been considering moving to Tennessee or North Carolina in a few years but hate to uproot the kids right now. Culcha could definitely speed up the process

Yep, there's definitely none in those two states....

Needs it's own thread, IMO

Hard to compare Raleigh to BR or the Nashville burbs. Not to mention the job markets and schools

I understand, I don't live in BR either, but it will eventually get where I'm at also

All things being equal, if given the choice between living in Nashville or BR, I'd pick Nashville every day of the week and twice on Sunday. The list of reasons is so long it would need its own thread. Hell, I'd even adopt Vandy as my second favorite team....

I love BR but it seems to be going downhill fast. It would be a difficult decision for us to move due to all of our family and friends here

This seems rare for Mayfair

I lived near there for a year and a half. Only thing that ever happened was a hooker getting killed and left in her car in Magnolia Woods.

I'm only in Central, so I'm close to family, but it's got its bad habits. And, I'd rather an arse whopping behind the wood shed than moving

Pretty sure all three accused officers were fired. Also all three were black. Not that it matters, just reminding you.

Also, this happened like 2-3 years ago so maybe that's why it hasn't really been in the headlines.

Three shitebag cops. The kind of trash you end up with when you artificially limit the hiring radius and try to promote diversity for the sake of it.

I grew up in Pride. If you aren't on Hooper down near Blackwater I think you are good. The schools should keep that area decent

I'm off of Denham, but not worried with schools, my youngest is 28. If you're still in the area, come drink some bourbon of mine

I just don't get BR. All those crappy apartments and duplexes and vacant retail off Staring right around the corner from some of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. Spitting distance from prime real estate.

Essen/Perkins still looks like trashy af though. Good god this town needs to get its shite together.
