Out of everything as a vet this event probably is the most singular in turning me against the government.

Very well said Devil and Semper Fi. I know this shite makes lots of us bitter. At some point along the way, command turns not only on the troops it supposed to lead but on the American public that it is sworn to protect and defend. The only way I see it and you nailed it is to enrich themselves. I saw it within our own ranks and one that ended up becoming our Sec of Defense.
