The tactics the lawyers used in the grand jury proceedings have already been discussed as unlawful and disbaring worthy.

I know, right? The way that the lawyers showed the grand jury all the evidence and let them decide the case on the facts? Just criminal, I say.

Geez, it's like we can't get good ole fashioned mob justice in this country anymore. (Baltimore gonna show y'all how it's done...).

It is not however because both of these officers were white and you know it.

Listen carefully, ONE OF THE OFFICERS IS A BLACK GUY. I can confirm it. I saw his picture. He has all the identifiers to fit the African-American decent profile. Try to keep up in between (terrible) rounds of time wasting hitting a little round ball into multiple holes randomly placed on property that could be used for much better purposes.

Try a different course the next time and use a different colored ball. ... also, avoid the hole with the windmill on it.

Preliminary autopsy released:

quote:

According to the report from MBI, Benjamin J. Deen died of a penetrating gun shot wound to the head. Officer Liquori Tate died of a penetrating gun shot wound of the torso.

The manner of death has been ruled a homicide, according to Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict.

Deen's funeral is Thursday morning in Hattiesburg

Tate's has not been announced yet. Looks like it will be in McComb.

Got some of the story on what happened. Deen approached the car. Both Deen and Tate were wearing vests. Banks shot Deen at the face at nearly point blank range. Face was covered with residue. Tate was backing up Deen. He tried to get cover behind his car door. Remember, he is a rookie. Banks shot him in the back below the vest. Round went upward and hit his aorta and other internal organs. He took longer to die. Very brutal killings.

Apparently the mayor of Hattiesburg foolishly made reference to concealed carry as the reason this crime occurred.

That would be CC by a felon, for any who are tracking the story.

He apologized for it. I'll give him a pass today. He's done a pretty good job on this one.

Found out this morning via email from a family member, Deen is a second cousin of mine. Never met him.

frick that's terrible. Tate must've been the one on the ground talking about how he is dying.

The video is very disturbing. No doubt they have the correct suspects. The shooter should get the electric chair no doubt.

The others will get reduced sentences after testifying against the shooter.
