This is what they (He and Broome) wanted. No sympathy for them at all.

To be fair, he's trying to get people to tell him who the killers are, which is his job

I have no love lost for the mayor or him, but at least this seems to be an attempt to address the idiocy of "hood culture" and staying silent on crimes. That's the "root of the problem" type of stuff that governments should be aiming at, because until that mindset changes shite won't really change at all. Criminals know they can get away with murder (literally) because nobody is gonna "rat/snitch."

Watched this last night

Paul blames repeat offenders
WBRZ then posts 3 mug shots / charges with bond $ & the white judge that allowed it

The victims grandfather blamed the violence on there being no resources
quote:

“There are no resources for our young guys now," the toddler's grandfather, George Provost, said. "There's nothing else to do. If you don't have resources or exposure but to anything but violence and foolery that's all you'll know."

If Murphy Paul had the nuts to call out what actually is the issue I’d have some respect for him

To be fair this is what he says every press conference when crime goes up & nothing changes
He should let his officers / detectives do their jobs

LeDuff didn’t make excuses, he called it like he saw it

They’re not going to help the police in any way. It’s really terrible the shite black people will hide and allow to happen just to spite LE. Remember when the really popular high-school qb at McKinley was gunned down in front of all of those people? Many many witnesses and not one came forward.

What good does that do after the fact?

How about not shooting each other at a ridiculous rate in the first place.

Have a dance off instead.
Play parcheesi.
Maybe Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Exactly, but he and the mayor are more concerned with how the media cover them. They don't care about the real world consequences of their polices or actions. The thing is, it's gotten so bad that even the media(Nakahomo, who are constantly attacking the local union and others in the police office, can't cover this up. Part of me believes they were chosen because they're so incompetent, though.

Ah there it is….somehow it’s the government’s fault. We need programs!

I really don’t care enough to do it but I’d like to see a list of all the organizations / programs in BR grifting tax payer money in the name of community outreach

Oh I don't disagree, and I am not trying to defend him. I just thought it was funny that someone said "do your job" when that's literally what he is doing.

If he was doing his job to the best of his ability he wouldn’t have the civil service board looking into him & officers wouldn’t be leaving at such a high rate

Maybe they probably shouldn’t go outside and entertain their selves if it means killing people. How about stay inside and not kill people.
