Branson or Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for Christmas

I'm OT trashy and have been to Branson plenty of times for Christmas because the girlfriend's parents have money to burn apparently and have a time share there. Funny how the place is clearly Methville, USA but the local developers/politicians have did their best to polish that turd.
So Gatlinburg or Branson, which is trashier?

Branson is severely over rated to me, that being said iv never been to pigeon forge but heard it’s awesome....

Pigeon Forge is kind of the white trash area in Gatlinburg. I don't mind it because I'm kind of trashy but it's not as nice as Gatlinburg itself.
Branson is right there with it but there are certainly some beautiful areas around Table Rock Lake.
