Brandon Augusta murder - new info to be released in news conference

Ascension Sheriff Jeff Wiley will be holding a news conference at 2:30pm today to discuss new information they apparently have regarding Brandon's murder. He was 15 years old and some buddies of mine from Donaldsonville have always told me it had to do with drugs in some way but others swear he wasn't into drugs. I know, I know -- "he was a good ole boy" - but who knows. I was always curious as to what happened to this kid and apparently we'll learn what happened in one hour.

Was he unarmed, walking down the street, possibly on his way to school or work and a white cop rolled up and shot him and then left him in the street to die?
