BR Zoo doing BR Zoo things - Gate left open, Black Rhino wanders out of enclosure

A spokesperson for the Baton Rouge Zoo said a caretaker going through the regular morning routine left a gate open Tuesday morning at the rhino enclosure. The rhino wandered out into a buffer zone for a couple of minutes before returning to his enclosure on his own.
The zoo says the animal was never in contact with any zoo visitors. Patrons in the area were put into safe places according to the standard zoo animal escape plan.

funny, a daycare has a kid go through a fence, they shut them down and remove their license.

The place is a dump and poorly ran by BREC. Audubon needs to take over and build a new zoo off River Road toward LSU.

I think the zoo itself is decent but they've had way too many problems throughout the years (too many to recite).
I assume a new location and new management will do the trick
