Whenever they tell you to.

Call the number. If your color comes up, say goodbye to a couple hours.

And enjoy the Inter-lock.

its not for me but for a friend. I just know how that goes on here when someone says that.

When I was 19 or 20 i had 6 months unsupervised probation. I never saw anyone or took any drug tests

I was curious how supervised worked?

You meet with them once a month. They can put you on random drug tests where you call in every day and basically get tested every week. If you don't get randoms, you get tested every month when you meet with them. Your monthly fee is $60 plus $20 per drug test. Have fun with that shite.

ETA And you get an Interlock if it's for a DWI.

It probably depends on the officer. Mine have always been laid back. I never had a drug charge though so that might be why I was never drug tested after my initial meeting.

I do remember asking my officer "so what about if I was in the room of people smoking will I show up positive"

All they want is your money

Not entirely true. They test you once every two months if they have no reason to test you: ie, a previous or current drug charge, or failed drug test. Tell your buddy if he times it right, he can still smoke five weeks out of 2 months.

You will be assigned a color. Every morning or as frequently as you are told to you call a number and a color is given, if it's your color you go in for a test.

Some colors are almost never called and some are called twice a week.

Though that is drug court, not sure how different DWI is.
Unsupervised is the way to go, your lawyer should have got you unsupervised for first offense.

I just got off supervised in August for a DWI in which my initial count PO had me on randoms because she had everyone of her offenders on randoms. She quit and I got a new guy who took me off randoms but tested me every month when I met with him. So it is entirely true.

I had it in St Tammany many years ago, and I took a drug test the first day, and just sent checks for the rest of the year. Nothing else
