literally was saying this exact thing earlier today on my drive down through Baton Rouge. Smells like waffles.

There is, and it smells marvelous.

At LSU, I always attributed the smell to Exxon because it always came with a north wind. One day crossing the bridge, someone told me it was Community Coffee. I find that highly suspect, because roasting coffee beans smells great. But I'm willing to admit I'm wrong.

I also worked in Buffalo, NY for a few weeks near the General Mills plant that baked Cheerios. One of the best industrial smells there is!

Yes, Flowers Baking Co. on Florida Boulevard, practically right next to the Interstate (across the street from the old Goudchaux's building). There is also Our Daily Bread located downtown near the State Capitol.
