Multiple law enforcement agencies teamed up to make an arrest in connection with two bank robberies that happened just days apart.
The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as Robert Ledet Jr., 20, of Baton Rouge.
quote:
Sheriff Brett Stassi says his deputies were called out after the Iberville Bank in White Castle was robbed at gunpoint Friday. He added investigators were able to get a description of the vehicle seen driving off. Investigators say Ledet was also linked to the robbery at Highlands Bank in St. Francisville, which happened Monday.
quote:
In just a ten day span last year in March, Ledet hit up four businesses on Plank Rd., one of which he hit twice. In each case, Ledet allegedly forced the employee at gunpoint to give him money. Then in June, he held up another business on Florida Blvd., also with a gun, but this time, police arrested him.
quote:
Ledet's bond was set at $250,000 for those five armed robberies. Last December though, a judge reduced his bond to $35,000 and he was able to bail out.

Who does this? Do you write emails first and put a subject line on it afterwards? Next, you're gonna tell me Steinbeck wrote a book about whatever came to mind, and only after he finished he decided to title it "The Grapes of Wrath."

Cool.
Back to the subject. Why does the news media not mention the judge's name? Lazy reporting or trying to give the judge a pass?
