I know the Y on Perkins had one. Any locations of snap or anytime have them? What about the LA fitness in PRowe?

I live near starring and Burbank. Thanks

What do you mean row machines? You can do seated rows in most cable tower machine things

Simple solution: buy one of your own and store in garage.

That's what I did and for anyone who likes to do rowing only workouts, this is the best solution. On days when I know that I can't work out after work, I wake up early and knock out just 10 mins before work. You can burn 150+ calories in that time.

I don't have a rower, but over the past 20 months I've built my own garage gym, and I use to go to Reds 4+ times a week.

now I realize how much training at the gym was holding me back. The only downside to the garage gym is that I don't have a pool, and swimming was one of my forms of cardio. For that one negative, there's about 20 positives. I highly encourage every serious gym goer to consider and explore the possibility of training from home.

Me too. I have 375# in weights. I built my own squat/bench stand. I have 72# and 54# kettle-bells and a 20# medicine ball. Squats, dead lifts, cleans, pushups, rowing, running, sit-ups. That's all i need. I pull a cross fit or other circuit workout off the internet every now and then and throw it in.

I normally join the Y just for the summer (I'm a teacher) to swim. I really enjoy rowing and would like to buy one. it seems a great thing to do while watching Netflix or just to hop on for fifteen minutes at any point during the day. But I see the good ones like the concept 2 are $900 and aome of the cheaper models at $300 don't seem worth it.

Keep an eye on Searchtempest for a used rower or set up an "ifttt" recipe to be notified when one goes on sale in your area. If you are in LA it can be slim pickins, but they do come around once in a while, particularly in the BR/NO area.

I have one at home, but when I do go to the gym I like to use it there as well.

Same here. Also built a pullup bar and mounted it to the ceiling.

Not in Louisiana. There are a few scattered out but not every gym has em. Mostly private places and crossfit boxes have them here.
