Tulane... I'm still having issues. Wasn't at the house over the weekend so I thought I'd see if it went away.

Do you mind me asking who you used and if it was reasonably priced? Thanks.

I'm not the OP, but I rented a 100' drain snake from Triple AAA Rent All on Airline for $58. Took me an hour to get our line cleared this weekend.

In the fall, I hired Roto Rooter for about $350 to do the same thing.

Just FYI if you're a DIY type person.

Thanks! That sounds great.

Was it pretty easy? Just go into all the drains and let her rip?

At least call 311 to see if the problem is on the city's side before spending money.

Start at your cleanout.

I called roto rooter as my 2nd option. They were able to come out over the weekend and were here in less than an hour. They charged about $150 and it took less than 30 minutes. The pipe was clogged up between the house and the street pipe.

This. Find your clean out outside your house and start there.

Okay, Thanks. The house is raised so might be pretty easy. I have time so might as well try to learn something.

Thanks for the replies.

Actually did this since they were the ones that initially told me it was their system that was causing it due to the heavy rain. Lots of rain I suppose...?? Anyway, they came out and said it was good on their end.
