Meh. I have some glasses at home that would brutalize somebody's dome worse than a beer bottle. Full, they almost take 2 hands to lift.

Glass. I'm usually too lazy though, or I'm out somewhere.

I attended a beer school hosted by AB and the "professor" said always pour your beer from a bottle into a glass.

why the hate for a chilled mug? personally I don't care, but is this something that is considered by OT trashy too?

I think glass is the best way to go for pure taste reasons.

But obviously bottles bring a convenience factor if you'd rather not go for a glass.

What's wrong with a chilled mug for beer?

I don't get it.

Well since you're taking orders, that sounds delicious I'll have one as well.

Apparently real men drink their beer at precisely 42.5°F. Anything colder is for pussies.

Nothing - nothing at all. Frosted mug maybe because the frost on the inside melts and waters down the beer but no reason at all to be pissy about drinking a cold beer our of a chilled mug.

or maybe they are mug hating bigots...

Nothing wrong with a slightly chilled mug. A frosted mug should be a no no for any decent beer. There are several reasons why that can be easily googled.

There's no way you can tell that it's watering down the beer until the last drop and by then there's probably as much spit in your beer as there is water...so it's negligible.

I took it that most thought the frosted glass is bad, and the frosted mug is good.

I've never seen blue moon served in a mug.

depends on the beer. For something fancy, I always put it in the a glass, the type of glass you are suppposed to drink that type of beer from.
