That LCA fellow lives there. So... you should avoid it unless you like hillbilly rape.

Pretty area...lots of mountains. My aunt lives about 15 mins from Boone and we were there in July. If you like hiking, outdoors, etc. you will like it.

Like you know anyone who falls into this category...

on topic..Lots of outdoor activity, some filthy hippies, ASU has about 17k students..several good bars and restaurants, traffic can stink as with any smallish town that grows too fast, Not sure what the job market is like since I am self-employed...

Can't be that great in a small town like that.

There's that upbeat, sunny attitude that made America great.

Would move there in a heartbeat. We have been there multiple towns and actually have it on our list of towns to retire to one day

Most of the chicks that go to App are slutty af. Highly recommend. Personally, seems like a place I would get bored of after a few years, only so many new things to do and not a huge fan of college towns. But you might be different

My mom lived in Blowing Rock, which is very close to Boone, a few years ago. Place is awesome but very high cost of living in NC. If you got the money, great area to live.
