What kind of books do you have that are worth so much? I can see that being the case on really old ones but relatively new ones..?

I have 3 kids. I grab the closest piece of paper (normally torn from a coloring book) and use that as a bookmark.

I just finished a book that on every other page, this douche drew a large asterisk with a pen.
