“Nearly half won’t fly MAX for year or more.” Barclays said. “If given the choice between a MAX and another aircraft type on otherwise identical flights, 52% would choose the other aircraft type.”

Boeing shares fell 1.3% in premarket trading from Monday’s close of $371.60 a share.

They should just scrap the Max and start over. It’s a poor retrofit design.

But of course they won’t and continue to insists a software patch and a few pilot trainings will fix it. Doubling down on stupid.

I agree.

The lower gear forced them to mount the engines farther ahead of the wing, which gives the Max a natural nose up tendency under power that the earlier 737 didn't have - justifying the need for the aggressive anti-stall system.
