I guess I have a different viewpoint than Sir Saintly it would seem. I am shocked when I hear stuff like this. The fact that these are tea sippers that are the culprits is irrelevant to me. The act is still equally horrific.

I'm surprised for sure and will be following this closely. I'm hoping I don't recognize any of the teachers involved.
I brought up their pedigrees b/c it seems they'd have a lot more to lose than the average "sex scandal" teacher we see in the news who always seems to be pretty trashy.

How many of these (recent) cases involve teachers sleeping with consenting students?

I wonder this too. The school I went to was a high school. It's not like there were little kids there. Some of the girls were pretty promiscuous as well. I wonder if some of these cases are 16-17 yr old girls and 23-24 yr old teachers? The teachers are of course still completely wrong, but it's not like an adult with a 10 yr old.
