This is a failure that is also a WIN. It's not every day you see the safety redundancies kick in and better yet they seem to work wonderfully.
Watching the video, you see the capsule at 500+ mph headed up, it decelerates on release from the rocket all the way to 0 mph, and then it accelerates again as its falling. That would for sure be a vomit comet.
Very cool video.

Is that the one shaped like a huge pecker that Shatner rode on?

There is only one choice for pilot of this rocket. Tom Cruise

Scott Manley quick video on the Blue Origin failure
quick synopsis of what he says... it looks to him like there might have been some kind of debris in the combustion chamber and suddenly it has "engine rich exhaust"
he came to that conclusion due to seeing some change and flashes in the flame before the abort
also... those saying the landing of the capsule looked rough... the capsule actually ejects a big puff of air just above the ground as the parachutes jettison to help cushion the landing... so that puff of air kicks up the dust which gives the illusion of a hard landing but it's actually a really soft landing
that's the way every Blue Origin capsule lands

Took her a while to find the “anomaly with separation of the crew capsule” page to read from.
