Cultural appropriation...such a b*llshit concept. I guess any black girl who straightens her hair is "appropriating" from us crackers since so many of us have naturally straight hair? Anyone who has tattoos is "appropriating" from polynesians? Or black dudes who are into motorcycles & belong to a club or into horses & cowboy lifestyle (I'd say that is "appropriation" from white people). The examples go on and on. Its a 2 way street...even when it doesn't fit your argument/perspective.

Well said, and I completely agree.
Some of you also need to understand that being anti-PC doesn't mean you need to be an a-hole at all times. You can simultaneously hate the PC backlash while also realizing when a comment is dumb and unnecessary. (I'm not talking to you SoFla)
That doesn't apply in this case because, after all, it is a song lyric so this is all absurd. However, if it wasn't a song lyric, at the very least it implies the women in LA are more attractive than the women in Oakland, and the women in Oakland have bigger asses than the women in LA. Is there anything wrong with that IMO? No. Could it offend the women in LA/Oakland? Possibly?
I'm honestly surprised that this seems so difficult for people to understand.

I don't think it's that as much as it's not really worthy of such outrage and offense. You think Sir Mix A lot didn't make a ton of money off white people when he released that song? Nobody was crying cultural appropriation when pockets were getting filled by a diverse population.
