The funny thing about the White Atlanta comment is that Atlanta has a lot of White people and fairly big White party scene. White people love Atlanta

Of course some racism paranoid Black associates tried to warn me about racism but I didn't experience any of that. Not counting security, I was often the only Black person in the bar and no one bothered me with any racism.

Despite what the media and race baiters want you to think, there isn't a lot of up close and personal, actual racism in the south.

Sure, some people may talk shite, and there's animosity to ratchet, violent, community destroying hood rat nonsense...but that's not really RACE based. It's BEHAVIOR based.

If you are a cool person, and amicable and respectful, no one is gonna give a shite what color you are. I have never come across a person where I said, "I don't like this person because of how much melanin they have."

It's all about attitude and how they act.

A poster, I forget his name, older black guy, said his father told him about this old man who would use the N-word and say uncouth shite...but was also the one to give them aid and help when their house burnt down.

And the poster said his father told him, about that "he's not as racist as you think he is, and he's not as racist as HE thinks he is."

They always stuck with me

Nashville unfortunately has jumped the shark IMO.

It’s been taken over by transplants and corporations sucking all the soul out of it. Everytime im there I can’t wait to go home after about 1 night.

It’s honestly exactly how I feel about mainstream country music. Feels fake and all the same.

Let me introduce you to Steelerbravesdawgs aka Lexis Dad.

And Awgustadawg, aka gtmodawg.

And the dozen other white people who will tell you how awesome Atlanta is, so long as you live in one of the rich white people neighborhoods.

I'm talking about city limits, not suburbs.

The SEC Championship has been in Atlanta for how many years now? The fans (mostly White) love the Atlanta experience perhaps?

The SEC Championship being in ATL has many very good reasons, but "white people love Atlanta" is not among them.
