I think we’re gonna get the 65” sharp aquos I saw at Walmart for like $880 or something.

Rtings.com will be your best site for reviews on specific models.

This right here. If you are going to be blowing a grand plus on a tv, do the research first. Cnet and Rtings both say the 65LG OLED tv is the best tv they have ever rated.

Costco has it for an insanely good price on Black Friday. If you have access to AAFES.com, then they have it for $2K on cyber Monday. If you have the cash then buy the best.

And yes, I got that TV a few weeks ago and it is gorgeous. The OLED is the only tv out there that compares to plasma without the huge energy drain or reflection issues.

Recently bought a 65" Vizio from Sams for the patio for ~$600. Their prices are hard to beat.

Target has 15% off all TVs going on today online

ETA: meant to say the 65" TCL is $595 after the 15% coupon

Samsung and Sony TVs have done well for me. I will never buy another LG. Maybe I got a lemon, but fool me once shame on you. LG won't fool me again.

Black is actually a positive. It means the stores finally started making money. Maybe we should call it white Friday?

Depends on the room and how close you sit to the tv. Our tv is about 10 feet from the chairs and couch so the 55 we have is too small.

OLED is going to have a better picture than LED because the unsicidudal pickes actually turn off During black scenes (on OLED ) .

I couldn't justify spending $3000 on a OLED
