Lol, that won't stop people from thinking they can steal it.
Some of you love to be dramatic, if the scooters fail in baton rouge I can absolutely tell you it will not be because they keep getting stolen.

Frisco TX city council had to call an emercency meeting this week b/c they had a bunch dumped on their city.
There’s like 2 areas of Frisco where these can even be feasible. What a waste

Around here you get charging hoarders. One person will pick up as many as they can fit in a truck. Maybe like 40 at a time. That person makes good charging money but that leaves other people that want to do it out of luck. So unless your really hustling, making good money charging is hard to do.
I see a bunch of Hispanics doing it in Dallas. They'll be in a little ranger with what looks like 100 scooters

They are getting people hooked then making the city the bad people Dangerous. A kid died in dallas on one. Lots of injuries. Car Ins rates are going to go up cause the car will be blamed instead of the dumbass zipping in and out of traffic on the sidewalk. Fight it in your town or yall will be screwed.

I can’t tell if he’s serious or if he’s trying a net neighborhood watchlike troll.

We had Lime Bikes here before the scooters showed up.
Lime Bikes work the same way with the gps and app.
All these bikes and scooters eventually become litter and are left everywhere.
The bike will contact the police if you try to move it without the app.

So the person who works the hardest gets the most money? And you make it sound like it’s a bad thing.
I'm all for hard work. But imagine this surfer guy in this video is now a baw in a f150 vs a guy driving a donk and they both want to charge scooters. Baton Rouge or any city will end up with confrontations over that easy money.

I think more than that
They pay you more depending on the scooters last charge but it ends up being impossible to charge them without “cheating”
Basically people figure out that you can hide scooters in your house and wait a couple days until they are paying 20 bucks per scooter to charger, then they officially collect them and charge them. So you’ll have a bunch that are on the map for more money but unable to find them because they are in brads apartment.
Most people in the big areas end up sticking to Lime, which is only 5 bucks a scooter but their GPS is much better and it screams bloody murder if you move it without paying for it or telling the app you’re charging it

All I can think of when I see that bike:

You can order a cheap plug in device from China that allows you to override the system and steal the scooters.
When the bikes were a big thing. Kept seeing bums on them. Wondering how they had a phone to unlock them etc. Then I started seeing parked ones with the metal bar locking the tires cut off. Ha.
The chinese are going to wipe us bad sooner or later. First they dump all the excess bikes on us, and then scooters, making money. Then they sell ways to circumvent them. Sneaky buggers

That’s not really hoarding unless they are picking them up before they are supposed to or intentionally holding onto them to raise the rate up

If the bums in Santa Monica havent stolen them yet, I think they are safe.
You have to activate the scooter with a credit card before you can ride it.

I still don't see any in the app.
And I signed up to charge them, awaiting approval.
