Funny. There is a very old book that predicts this very thing.

How do you think we developed purebred dogs and thoroughbred horses?

You think the city leaders are concerned for the love the fans have for the team? They can hold the cities hostage because of the economic impact that leaving would have.
The city leaders are worried about their re-election not the economic impact

They are one and the same. That's my point. Remove tens, or even hundreds of millions of dollars from even a large city's economy, and there is going to be a lot of people going elsewhere for work, and the ones who stick aren't going to be as fat as they were. Same concept for the ark and it's economic impact, possibly more so, since it isn't located in a large metropolis.

So you don't believe in the Bible or God?

In my profession I deal with factual evidence that makes it extremely difficult to believe in a creator of all things.

So you are saying the Holy Bible is full of lies?.. you are pretty much calling God a liar. That's not good man

Can someone explain the dinosaurs shown in one of the pictures? What does that have to do with Noah's Ark?

So what or who do you think created the heavens and universe? The Oceans, the Mountains, the ground on which we walk on? It certainly wasn't from some kind of microbe or big blast that just automatically made everything.

whatever it was there's no reason to consider a creator an explanation - because it answers nothing.
Q: what created the universe?
A: a creator.
Q: then what created the creator?
A: don't ask

I must have missed the verse where it says Noah single handedly built the ark despite being 500 years old and most likely having thousands of descendants.
Must have.
I wonder if Noah could have passed code inspection.

Some people have trapped themselves into arguing there must have been dinosaurs on the ark because the earth is only a few thousand years old according to them and because there are dinosaur bones.

Religiosity/spirituality has been around since the beginning of time across all cultures. As long as they aren't advocating child rape and beheadings it's really not hurting anything. In fact I would argue in many regards it helps more than hurts. Christian charities, faith-based hospitals, hot yoga (+ yoga pants), etc.
I don't consider the spread of ignorance not hurting anyone. I don't care if the religious are religious and I intend no law to bar them from being religious or trying to spread their ignorance, but they should be prepared to face withering ridicule for the broadcasting of their superstition and ignorance.
It is actually an interesting debate. There can be social values to religion that can be good. For example, some people might actually need absolutist explanations and not function as well without them. For some, it does encourage charity, which is also good.
But there are some obvious drawbacks when the religion actively gets in the way of teaching correct information or teaches immoral things. This probably ruined the muslim world a thousand years ago and the prohibitions on creative and independent thought have caused immeasurable damage and suffering for those people and the people who they have enslaved or killed.
