This is the second comment I've read basically stating that the both sides have moved further left/right. But from what I see personally in my life is that everyone has moved more left. Conservatives aren't more right. Most conservatives are far more liberal than in years past. Accepting gay marriage for example was a big conservative/liberal line in the sand issue and now almost nobody cares. Most Republicans don't oppose gay marriage between consenting adults. And a growing number of gay adults are more aligned with the Republican party. It's just these far left woke liberals who are so devisive and extreme in their political and social views
