Do I have to wear a leather vest and chaps if I join your club? I'm more comfortable in blue jeans and golf polos. Leather makes me itch.

Leather vest is required, chaps are not. However, they are quite useful when you're out riding and it's down below the mid-50's. Plus, if you ever were to have to lay your bike down, you'll be glad to have on a pair of chaps over your jeans.

I've rode before with a golf shirt on and can tell you that the flapping of the collar against your cheek and neck will drive you crazy. Boots is a good idea as well. Tennis shoes or sandals are not something you want to wear when riding.

Oh that's right. you think the only "real" MC's are those involved in criminal activity. You choose to ignore all the other hundreds of MC's even the cop & Christian MC's, because acknowledging they exist would upset your black & white view of what we are.
Guess tonight I need to contact my good friend that I for years coached youth football & base ball with, who just so happens to be a cop, that I'm having to break off our friendship because him being a great guy conflicts with the worldview that all cops are stupid, lazy, pigs with a inferiority complex and a propensity for power trips. God forbid I actually look at each person or organization and judge them by who they are. It's much easier to lump whole groups together.
