Darth, I just want to thank you for bringing "mudcheck" into the OT vernacular. 20 years from now, posters will be using the term, and the old timers will brag about posting in the same threads as you

You're welcome. I just hate that so many on here have the wrong idea about what it means.

well the government taking a trademark away (or at least trying) isn't breaking up the club. i doubt many mongols cite the trademark as a reason to inflict MC justice on those wearing the patch without earning it

What the Feds were trying to do was take away their ability to wear their own club patches.

Seems like that would be easy to get around.

that's impossible and just "big dick" talk from the prosecutors. it violates your 1st Amendment rights

just like the right to associate

RICO laws just make it easy to prosecute entire groups if there is a pattern of criminal activity, so you have to choose your friends well

I think the reasoning the Feds were using is if they were able to Trademark the Mongols logo, then anytime a cop saw a someone wearing a Mongol patch, they could detain them for copyright infringement. The last I heard a judge struck down their efforts though. Still, what it shows is there is an effort on the federal level to totally do away with at least specific MC's.

RICO is something they can use to take down entire chapters. All it takes is one member to be involved in something illegal and the Feds will use it as an excuse to go after everyone. And for that reason you're right, you do have to choose your friends very well.

Wonder how many bikers' homes have been raided in the last few hours? They're going to come down hard on these groups in next 24 hours i'm guessing.

As they should. If guys want to act hard and fight at rural biker bars good for them, anyone that wants to shoot it out at 1215 in a strip mall deserves the full force of the justice system heaped upon them.

THIS is what SS and the other black apologists are missing. If you guys were all for cops cracking down on the thugs in your communities we would be your friends, but you don't. You don't see anyone in here excusing the behavior of the bikers but you would make an excuse for black teens that did this. That is a huge part of why your community is such shite right now.

I think it's funny that in their free time Cops like to dress up like Outlaw bikers and wear three piece patches.

Who doesn't? I've got a ton of Hells Angels and Bandidos crap I got off of Ebay that I like to wear around the house or when I cruise down to the bar.

THE
IRON
ORDER

Which speaking of the wannabe's, rumor I've been hearing is they're supposedly kicking out all the cops and supposedly will start wearing diamonds. We'll see I guess.

Same. Why bother with a club when I can just buy the shite online? I wear my Hells Angels shite all the time and get instant respect from the squares. What could go wrong?

What makes this problem even worse though is there's a number of big clubs who are patching in anyone with a pulse as cannon fodder.

How the frick can you say this when earlier in this thread you said biker wars are over?
