That's what "getting the information" is. You get their name and number, then they hand you their insurance card so you can write down their policy number and company phone number. People havent just been accepting a name and phone number on blind faith all these years.

With no witness or video, it’s word vs word. Even if the car didn’t hit her and she was forced to take evasive action, she may not be liable. If it wasn’t for the car making her swerve, would she have hit your vehicle? Just because she stayed at the scene and the other vehicle kept going, it doesn’t make her completely at fault.
