Hung with Satan's Tramps around the Tullos - Olla area in 80s. Respect them and no issues

Are the Galloping Goose MC and Vieux-Doo Dawgs MC still active in NOLA/S. La?

Stayed at a resort in north Georgia. Motorcycle gang came rolling in.
They were all policemen.

They were all policemen.

There are at least 3-4 cop "biker gangs" that appropriate the three-patch look of the 1%ers and get away with it because they're cops.
If 1%ers were half of what they're cracked up to be, that wouldn't be happening. And if the cops were "mostly good guys doing a tough job," they wouldn't have any desire to imitate felons in such a way.

this place has lost about 10 steps when we have a biker thread and Darth isn't mentioned in the first 30 posts
I mean, I know he's turned his life around and now makes model tanks instead of moving heavy product with the 1%ers, but sheesh
Darth will be in here soon and give these guys a mud check

I hung up my cut and retired from riding years ago. As for these threads, I tend to ignore them now. 99% of what’s in them is complete horse shite and it’s not worth getting involved.

My BIL used to ride with a military/veterans club that wasn't 1% but somehow had a dispensation to have a three piece patch. He hasn't ridden in a while and last I heard was looking to sell his bike.
I have an older cousin who got into that life after coming back from Vietnam. I don't know what club, I was just a little kid. He's pretty old and left all that behind a long time ago but he's still a little "off."

In my high school class of 128, 3 ended up being cops. All three were playing with army men still at the age of at least 16, and drawing war scenes with ships and planes pew pewing each other, as well infantry doing the same thing, while in class. One of the three I put freshly caught minnows from the drainage ditch (someone else caught them and someone else pointed out then pulled his brown paper bag from his cubby hole "locker") at school on his two bologna sandwiches in 8th grade. The entire school knew about it but him when it came to for lunch. Everyone was staring at him when he walked in with his brown paper bag. It was after he was halfway through the second sandwich that he noticed half minnow dangling off of a piece of lettuce. By the end of the school year he had figured out it was me and never did anything about it.
