How accurate were these models 10 days out before the big snow we had last friday?

Has PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEJJJJJJJJJJJJJ gave his thoughts? If he says 75 on Christmas. I'm preparing for a catastrophic ice storm that will paralyze all Louisiana.

nothing else even remotely interesting on TV as I was getting ready for work this AM
If you have DirecTV, channels 597 and 598 always has something interesting on

The GFS was shite with the big snow we just had. It finally picked up on the potential of "up to 1 inch" of snow the night before the event.
We need to wait and see what the Candian and the NAM say about this potential event. They were spot on last week.

GFS had its day in the sun about 7 days out before Harvey hit. I think PJ took control of the model during the snow event last week.

This snow event is finally starting to show up on long range wunderground forecasts for Nashville.
As of now, it shows a 30% chance on 23rd, with less than an inch, and a 60% chance on 24th with over 2 inches. Looks like it might continue into Christmas day too.

ice event for south Louisiana if freezing temperatures grip us for 48 hours while rain falls the entire time.
Fully about this... as long as I don't lose power.

Latest gfs keeps the freezing line back into central TX. It also moves the front very slowly through SE LA, so there's several hours of a nearly 30 degree difference Biloxi and BR.

2 straight days of ice and snow from that last run in DFW.
Hmmmmm

That 6z run would be crippling to baton Rouge. Half an inch + of freezing rain. It would result in massive power outages and the complete shut down of most roads and for sure the interstate.
Again, glad I will be out of town IF that happens.
