went to Walmarts yesterday and academy today to buy a bike. both stores look like the day after Christmas with about 5% of the inventory. appears there may be a lack of delivery from china

Unless you ride it 5 times per year or it's for a kid that will outgrow it in 6 months, go spend a little more on a decent bike baw.

Stopped by Bike Barn in Houston a few weeks back to get a new tube for the wife's bike and the very limited number of bikes on the floor were already tagged as sold. Walked through the bike section of Target last week and there weren't even biking accessories in stock.
