Why?

Its like hitting down a long narrow chute with OB downboth sides from the tips. It takes a pretty good knock to get it past the dogleg too. Plays 415 from the blacks and 309 from the blues!

You could hit a 4 iron 220 yds, be in the fairway, and have about 160yds in, right?
Posted on 3/14/16 at 8:15 pm to BRgetthenet
220 and 195 left more like it

I think you would have to be at least 250 yds to have a view of the green. If you do happen to hit one 280 and right down the middle then the 2nd shot is piece of cake.

How was Audubon yesterday?
Posted on 3/14/16 at 8:18 pm to ell_13
Good shape, forgot how fun of a track it is, scenery was top shelf as always.

Had a bachelor party down there this weekend. Wish I had brought my clubs, but I didn't think there was a chance in hell it would be dry enough and I didn't want to leave the clubs in the car all weekend.

#5 at Santa Maria is under water. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

From the pics I saw more than #5 is holding tons of water, Carter is pretty bad as well

2nd hole at the Island might be the most intimidating tee shot in the city.
Not even the hardest tee shot on the course. Hole 11 is much more difficult. 2 foot left of the cart path is OB.

Yeah, all the holes that run along the bayou at SM are flooded. But the only one I wish evil on is #5
Posted on 3/14/16 at 8:29 pm to CBandits82
I prefer the Island for sure. Much more memorable layout and conditions better day in and day out.
Posted on 3/14/16 at 8:30 pm to betheone
And #2 at the island is a 3 shot hole. So you don't even need driver off the tee.

Don't remember 5 it's been so long, just cut it in there though, that's all, butta cuts
Posted on 3/14/16 at 8:32 pm to CBandits82
Carter, but I worked there in high school so I'm biased.

I've gotten home in 2, and made the putt.
Not impossible. Just need a good drive, a great approach, and somethin inside of 20ft.
