I bought this shitty wood from Lowe's and I can't keep the fire going. I'm here freezing my arse off downstairs meanwhile it's 98 degrees upstairs.

Update: Purchased New Mexico Piñon wood. Fire is going strong

I've had good luck with the starter bricks and Winn Dixie wood. I've bought from a few residences with firewood signs, and it's never dry enough.

Better wood or better ait flow. Do not put gas or diesel on it unless you want your whole house reeking of fumes.
