Find two dealerships that hate each other then go back and forth with them haggling till one folds and offers you the better deal out of spite.

Basically what I did. Test drove some vehicles locally and researched different trim levels. Found the one in the trim and color I wanted and best price then drove to Morgan City and told them which one wanted.

I recently bought a new car from a dealership in Rayville LA. Did everything by email and only went to the dealership to sign the paperwork, give them a check and my trade. Easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had!

What part of he doesn’t want to haggle do people not get?

Hub Cap’s method was fine pre-pandemic. Now the new car buying landscape has had a paradigm shift.

Never tell them how much you want to pay per month and don’t get extended warranties. Best way is to go to the dealership and don’t buy anything, say no to whatever price they are giving you.l and leave. They will call you back with a better deal within a week.

You don't even have to go at all anymore. Many dealerships are used to online shoppers now and have accepted it.

My last truck I bought was done 100% over emails and phone calls and one package of mail. They sent the papers to my office, I mailed them back with a check, picked the truck up a few days later when I had time to go get it.

It's easier than it's ever been. You can see prices and inventory all over the country now within a few minutes.

How do you actually know what you are getting?

I bought new so hopefully I was getting the same as a new one from any dealer since they were shipping out of the same factory.

I don’t know if I could do that with a used vehicle without looking it over. I still look over the new vehicle, but you most likely won’t buy a new vehicle then find cigarette burn marks in the headliner or some shite.

Some dealers will ship it to you. So yeah you don’t even need to go there.

Ask them what their supplier price is a\on a particular vehicle…if they won’t give it to you for that…cease communications.

I believe Sam’s club has a car purchasing department, and I’ll bet you can get supplier pricing through them. I may try them out on my next vehicle purchase

If you want a popular vehicle you are going to have to haggle. If you want a car that is hard to sell then you don't have to haggle.
Example but a Jeep Weangler and you have to haggle, buy a jeep wagoner and name your price.

Find the car you want. Ask for best price. Be prepared to walk. If they let you walk, their price was probably pretty good. Regardless of what the OT thinks, dealerships exist to sale and service cars. They wont let you leave if the deal makes sense.
