I think you're giving too much credit. I'm not sure 1 out of 10 people has survival skills

last time i checked, the apocalypse is the end of the planet. So what better place to be than space? AKA not on the planet

Scruffy would rather go down swinging than slowly degrade and die of starvation in space alone.

How long can one be on the ISS without supplies coming in? Cause you are highly unlikely to be getting shuttles visiting you if shite meets fan.

according to the NASA website

quote:

Well, typically, we plan for four to six months. They of course go up and come back by either Russian craft or on the space shuttle, and we take them food and supplies in two different ways. One is on a Multi-Purpose Logistics Module that launches in the shuttle payload bay, and the other is from resupply ships sent aloft from Baikonur in Russia.

So looks like id have to learn how to science the shite out of it like in The Martian. I'll just kidnap Matt Damon and bring him with me.

In this hypothetical i was assuming it would be stocked to unlimited capacity

Food and guns would be the most valuable items so I would pick either one and become allies with the other.

I can't think of any other type of store I would want to be in if an apocalypse started.
