I'm not a certified expert on sports, but I have known the basic rules of baseball since I was like 10 years old. My story is more about a dumb bitch proclaiming herself to be an expert on something that she really knows nothing about (gee, women NEVER do this)
Back in college, I had a summer job keeping score for kids softball and baseball games at BREC parks. Easy 10 bucks an hour to basically make sure little Timmy and Joey all batted in order during their 8-year old coach's pitch game (There were no Jaxxons or Braxtyns yet in the early 90's) and to track runs scored.
Anyway, in one inning, there were runners at 1st and 3rd with 2 out. Kid hits a grounder to short. Shortstop throws to 1st in time to get the 3rd out. It happened that the runner at 3rd crossed home plate before the out was made at 1st, but no biggie. Run doesn't count because the 3rd out was made on a force at 1st.
But not according one faithful parent who I am sure by now must have a grandson named Kayden. She asked me what I had the score as after the inning, and when I told her, she asked me why the run didn't count. I explained the rule to her, and she said "Oh no, I think you are wrong. You obviously are a kid out here who doesn't know the rules and is just stealing money from BREC". I resisted the urge to call her a bitch and just ignored her, but she went on about how she had been watching games for years and how that run always counts and that she was going to call the BREC office on Monday and have me fired for not knowing the rules.
Sure enough, the boss at BREC called me Monday morning around 10 telling me she had called. He corrected her, my job was safe, we had a good laugh about how dumb some broads are, and I didn't hear a peep from that dumb bitch the rest of the season.

Back when I was grow-tent growing I'd do ScrOG and SOG. Now it's a lot larger operation, plus it's just me nowadays and I really just dont have the time to get extensive with training.

Mine is rock music (hence my screen name). Particularly up to the 2000s. I had fun with a group of friends a couple weeks ago quizzing me on release dates and which songs were on what albums and names of band members, etc. We would get into "nuh uh / uh huh" stuff and then they'd look it up on their phones. I'd know I was right when they wouldn't confirm it, just look at their phones and then change the subject.

So she’s a bank teller? jk, my sister has a landscape architecture degree from LSU, I’ve never known anyone with that degree, except her ex boyfriend from LSU, to actually work in that field, and I think his business thrived because his Godfather is Camille Gravell ?
She worked for Tulane dong something or other, then went to Columbia for grad school and ended up working for them managing their real estate portfolio. Columbia owns a lot of NYC property which makes a significant part of its endowment. She inherited a little money and moved back to Louisiana. She does some volunteering with historic preservation type stuff. I think she's got it in her head that she'd like to write a book. I dont know if she ever will.
As you inferred, it's pretty hard to make a living doing the actual work of landscape architecture.

This is probably true in most hospital settings.

I'd want to play the metal version of this. Turn it into a smoking game.

Human trimmers, then the trim is collected and processed. Helps people make a living. Not a big fan of machine-trimming.
Some places who buy though, want their own in house trimming. So it's just sent as is immediately after drying.
Personally, I prefer wet trimming. It's just how I learned and well, i don't know. Maybe nostalgic reasoning tbh.

A group I am involved with in Chicago (architects, engineers,Construction, development) rented out one of the architecture boat tours in Chicago for a party we were having. The girl doing the tour had no idea who the group was and proceeds to do her normal thing talking about the buildings. I don’t think she could make out a sentence without someone correcting her on what actually happened with the building.

Complaining about my wife’s window being smashed at a kid’s birthday party place and thinking it was St George and not BR in the OT.
They handed my arse to me, they think, but I was wrong.

No thinking about it.
Every single part of your post in an attempted dig at StG was 100% wrong. After having your arse handed to you, you crawfished with a half arse apology to shift the narrative to the entire parish.

frick you. I posted hastily Because I’m sick of hearing about this supposed St G utopia. I “crawfished” because I’m aware and realized I posted hastily. I’m not backing down that St George will still be BR.

So you enjoy being blissfully ignorant of the truth. That area never was, never is and never will be a part of the city of BR. They will continue to remain in EBR parish
