Bought my first pair of Dansko for work back in 2001. Wore them as is for years until one year, on a whim, I added custom orthotics I had in my running shoes for PF. They were tight at first but eventually stretched out. Now I just make sure to buy one size larger to accommodate the thickness. 12-16 hours of walking/ standing & no leg fatigue or lower back pain.
You won't have to worry about that if you get the newer model Xp 2.0 which comes with a removable memory foam footbed.
Also, don't buy the shinny patent, get the oiled leather model. The leather & outsole lasts longer.
Bonus: the heel makes you taller!

Keen PTC II
Leather, so easy to wipe clean
Wide toe box for comfort
Slip resistant
I’m on my 4th pair after trying them for the first time 8 years ago. Usually replace the insoles a couple times before the leather wears down to the point I need to replace. Most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve had.

On Cloud X's are comfortable as hell.

Out of curiosity, how are those different from Crocs and other types of clog-like shoes?
More comfortable imo, but that’s just my personal preference. I had issues in the past with plantar fasciitis in one foot and and those shoes didn’t make it worse when I worked 12 hour shifts.
I don’t wear the Alegria clogs though. I always got the Mary Jane style shoe they had.
They have really good insoles as well...from their site...

My wife has been a hair stylist for 27 years. Her legs get very tired and strained. She also prefers Alegria, Dansko, and Naot in that order.
