We went this weekend
We just ride through all the neighborhoods off of Highland, then hit some randoms that look promising
Kennilworth is always the best subdivision in town.
It has a number of houses that go all out (1 synced to music and 1 that is Clark Griswald'ed out) but you missed the Luminaries this past Sunday
There is also a house in the back of a subdivision on Brookhollow that is synced to music
Also a short drive to Ascension on Mill Grove rd is 2 houses synced to music

The zoo has a nice setup going right now. It's not free, but not expensive either. Our 1.5 year old enjoyed it.

I found this to be incredibly overrated on Saturday. Teddy Bear Tea at the Roosevelt was legit for my 4 yr old daughter though....worth the price of admission for her and my wife.

Monticello off Greenwell Springs. You are likely to see a black nativity scene. Every house has been Griswolded.

Westminster off Jefferson has been pretty bountiful in this regard the past few years.
