for the OP, do you just want a light shoe, or a true 0 drop shoe?

Wasn't trying to call you out or anything. I just bought the NBs this week so I wasn't sure what was going on.

It was a good catch, I worded that very poorly.

alot of shoes have Vibram soles
Didn't know that. I always associate Vibram with those goofy finger shoes.

You can see the vibram logo on the ones that use them like the Merrell trail gloves

My NB Minimus shoes are wearing out a little early too. I have about 350 miles on them and the mesh is tearing in 4 different places. First pair of NB Minimus I've owned. I like the way they feel but I had hoped to get around 500-600 miles out of them.

I demo'd a pair of Brooks PureFlow 3's on a group run about a month ago. They are nice, but almost 2 ounces heavier than the minimus shoes I am wearing. Although I couldn't really feel it on a shorter run, I am worried that I might on a longer run. I know going from the previous pair of Brooks to the minimus shoe, it felt like I was running barefoot. It felt great. I am fairly inexperienced when it comes to running shoes. I am not sure how my feet/legs will react making the switch back to a heavier shoe.

I swear by the Trail Glove. I've never had a better shoe.

FWIW, I ran in the Nimbus and found it way more awkward, but I admit that the footprint of the TG is a little tighter. I use it for everything, running, boating, city walking, hiking, etc. I just basically order a new pair every 2 years.
