Army Engineering

Any branch linguist (particularly Spanish, German, Japanese or Chinese)

Air Force or Navy fixed wing mechanic

Any branch rotary wing mechanic

Any branch medical

Any branch IT fields

Any branch military police

i worked on 60's in the Navy...looked at many a job in those two areas of Bama...couldn't bring myself to move out of GA...

Navy STG..Two and a half years of my first enlistment was in San Diego just for schools..

If he is not going into the military as an engineer, then nuclear navy would most likely set you up for the best after you get out. Nuclear plants hire those guys like crazy.

Thanks for your service, sir.

Fort Rucker was alright, I can't remember that much because I was pretty young. I'm doing mechanical engineering right now at Alabama and will probably end up over in Huntsville for an internship this summer.

Who knows, maybe after college I will enlist and try and fly as well.

Linguist, Intel or AF Contracting (some services call this Procurement). This is what I did while active duty and have been doing ever since 1979; great job opportunties.

Or go Chair Force. Navy deployments are getting worse and worse. No more fun ports.
