You have lost you freaking mind....or possibly never had a good king cake?
*Every Laffy person gonna say Keller’s just because it’s a Lafayette biz. They good but def not the best. La Fille, Son Chien When you can get them & Meches donut cake is better than Keller’s.
Others: Randazzo Camelia City only, Dung... Lowders & Lila’s up in SHV are legit.

I get mine in a high end bakery, or publix bakery because I am in another state. The baby not being added in is a shame. Is the baby separate in plastic wrap still in NOLA area bakeries?

Zulu King Cake from Ambrosia is my favorite. I've had them shipped to Virginia, and they were still awesome.

I love Haydels cream cheese filled. And they do a great job with their shippers because of all of the stuff they put in the box that they out of state people love to get

Trash cake. I've ordered from two of the different Randazzo's, Dong Phoung, Gambino's, Ambrosia in BR, and Sucre over the years and Haydel's was either the worst or second worst of them all.

Haydel’s is the closest that I’ve come across.

Randazzo’s is my go to. I like Dong Phuong too.

It’s up there and is really good but they are really skimpy on the filling. They need to put about 3 times as much

I bought 3 from a place in Sulphur a couple years ago

The bananas foster king cake was legit. Can’t remember what the other two were, but they were good. Plain old king cake is meh.

send him one from cajun pecan house in cut off. they ship and you won't regret it.

I have always considered Randazzos as the standard, but this one beats it.
